Creating a Happy Life

A warm welcome to all! Your presence here is very meaningful to me. As you may already know from my message on the "About/Contact" page of my website, my dad, even now in spirit, is the Happy Life mascot. Dad always encouraged his children to create their happiness. Maybe you enjoy singing and dancing in your PJ's. Maybe pulling a rake out of the shed to clean after a messy winter brings a smile to your face. Perhaps, it's writing, painting, working on cars, meditating, knitting or crocheting, playing a round of golf, or supporting a charity or community in need that makes you happy. Maybe it is whispering a quiet prayer or an intentional peaceful thought or taking the time to read a beautiful story in a good old-fashioned handheld book that makes a positive difference in your day. Sometimes, it's simply saying "no" and feeling content with your decision to do so. (Hopefully, there are many moments of "YES!") There are limitless ways to create happiness in our lives every day. May this day be one where you feel compelled to create even the smallest bit of joy.
